THE OPPORTUNITY
CommonWell Health Alliance is an independent association open to all Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) vendors. They are dedicated to providing open health data to health care providers and the patients that they serve. The opportunity was to nationally increase membership and expand interoperability across 100s of care-settings.

THE INTELLIGENT CULTURE
An intelligent business culture was needed to the address issues surrounding the open exchange of health data. Issues ranged from healthcare vendors and providers hoarding health data to the risk of fraud and identity theft. We created the guidelines for an intelligent culture between the CommonWell Health Alliance, it’s members, and RelayHealth through education, products and services.

THE COMMUNICATIONS
Working with RelayHealth we created sales enablement training for products and services including open APIs using Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR). As a result, CommonWell Health Alliance’s membership doubled.
